Frank Keizer

1987, lives in Amsterdam
Poet, editor, essayist.

As well as a poet, editor and essayist, Frank Keizer is a critic and a translator. Together with Samuel Vriezen, he translated the American poet Rob Halpern’s poetry collection Disaster Suites into Dutch. His own work appeared for the first time in 2012, in de form of the chapbook Dear world, fuck off, ik ga golfen (Dear World, Fuck Off, I’m Going Golfing). His first regular publication Onder normale omstandigheden (Under Normal Circumstances) appeared in early 2016, and was immediately viewed as an important collection, bursting with urgency and characterised by a typical contemporary, disquieting voice. His work has been translated into German and Portuguese.
